Job Overview
MABILLA ENERGY & METALS LTD is recruiting a Business Analyst (Energy & Metals Trading) to support its expanding precious metals trading and energy consultancy operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in business analysis, finance, commodities, or trading support to work in a hybrid role while contributing to international gold and precious metals trading between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
Suitable candidates may also be eligible for UK Skilled Worker visa sponsorship, subject to Home Office requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse global precious metals and energy commodity markets.
- Support buying, selling, and hedging decisions through market analysis.
- Perform financial analysis and transaction viability assessments.
- Conduct margin calculations and currency exposure modelling.
- Assess supplier and counterparty risks.
- Carry out due diligence in line with UK AML regulations and LBMA responsible sourcing standards.
- Prepare business cases and feasibility studies.
- Review business processes and identify operational improvements.
- Produce monthly and quarterly trading performance reports.
- Monitor UK and international regulations affecting commodities trading.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least two years of experience in business analysis, trading support, or commodities advisory.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
- Understanding of UK financial regulations and AML compliance.
Desirable Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- CFA, CISI, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience in precious metals or commodities trading.
- Knowledge of UK–Africa trade operations.
- Experience with KYC and KYB due diligence.
