Job Description: Are you a highly motivated and caring individual looking to make a genuine difference in patient health and wellbeing? Stanhope Mews Surgery (SMW) is looking for a dedicated Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our dynamic and supportive clinical team.
As a Health Care Assistant at SMW, you will be a vital part of a practice that is committed to delivering high-quality, thoughtful, responsive care to all our patients, tailored to their individual needs. You will work alongside a diverse clinical team, which includes GPs, practice nurses, pharmacists, and a social prescriber.
Main duties of the job
As an HCA at Stanhope Mews Surgery (SMW), you’ll perform a range of hands-on clinical and supportive tasks essential to primary care delivery. Your main duties will focus on direct patient care and supporting the clinical team in diagnostics and preventive health measures.

The Team: The clinical staff is diverse, comprising GPs, practice nurses, health care assistant, pharmacists, First Contact physiotherapist, and a social prescriber. Our support staff includes a dedicated reception teamoften the first point of contactalong with administrative and clerical staff, all overseen by the practice manager and his deputy. We also work closely with the allied ‘My Care My Way’ health and social care team for older adults.
