About the SACT Day Services Role
The Sister / Charge Nurse will play a central role in supporting patients throughout their cancer treatment journey.

Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating patient care
- Coordinating the day-to-day management of the SACT unit
- Providing clinical leadership
- Supporting the Senior Sister, Charge Nurse and Matron
- Deputising for senior nursing staff when required
- Supporting SACT outreach sites across Greater Manchester
- Managing and motivating Band 5, Band 4 and Band 3 staff
- Monitoring mandatory training and appraisal requirements
- Promoting patient safety and quality of care
- Acting as a professional role model
- Supporting multidisciplinary working
- Safely administering SACT
- Managing SACT reactions and adverse reactions
