Role of the Job

Analyze complex healthcare datasets, build data models, and deliver insights that shape products, client solutions, and strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare datasets (claims, EHR, FHIR, registries) for trends & KPIs
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and SMEs to define metrics & controls
• Build & maintain curated datasets and dashboards (SQL, Python, BI tools)
• Support clinical, operational & policy use cases with advanced analysis
• Develop business rules for data mapping, transformation, and validation
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant data privacy and security protocols
• Translate findings into clear reports & visualizations for stakeholders
• Monitor data health metrics and support anomaly detection

Requirements

• Education – Bachelor’s in Health Informatics, Public Health, Stats, CS, or related field
• Experience – 3+ years with healthcare data (EHR, claims, public health)
• Skills – SQL, Python/R, Excel, Tableau/Power BI/Quicksight
• Knowledge – Healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, ICD, CPT, LOINC)
• Traits – Strong communicator, detail-oriented, problem solver, collaborative
• Databricks, Snowflake, or modern data platforms
• Familiarity with data governance (NIST, HITRUST)
• Experience with CMS, VA, DoD, payer/provider orgs
• Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems & policy
• Master’s degree or analytics certifications
