- Job Title: Senior Document Writer
- Job Type: Full-time

- Compensation: $18.50 – $42.35 per hour, plus eligibility for CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program
Role of the Job
The Senior Document Writer drafts, reviews, and edits medical, dental, and vision plan documents. This role supports new business by creating accurate and compliant plan documents and summaries of benefits and coverage (SBCs).
Responsibilities
- Draft and edit plan documents for medical, dental, and vision benefits
- Review and ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of documents
- Support new business needs by developing tailored plan documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to align documents with client requirements
- Maintain high-quality standards while meeting tight deadlines
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in plan writing for self-funded or fully insured plans
- 2–4 years of experience in the health insurance industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical, dental, and vision benefits
- Familiarity with benefit terminology and compliance regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
