About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will support national policing improvement programmes by analysing operational and workforce data, producing evidence-based insights, and helping police forces improve performance and public confidence.
Working closely with policing stakeholders across the UK, you will create reports, dashboards and analytical outputs that support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Produce statistical reports and business insights.
- Design interactive dashboards using Power BI.
- Clean, validate and manage complex datasets.
- Support business improvement initiatives across policing.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Build productive relationships with police forces and national partners.
- Contribute to evidence-based policing and operational reform.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Strong experience using Power BI for reporting and data visualisation.
- Experience in data mining, cleansing and quality assurance.
- Excellent statistical and workforce data analysis skills.
- Proven ability to improve business performance through innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
