Job Summary

About the Role

Purple Dot Digital Limited is looking for a creative and experienced UI/UX Designer to completely redesign an existing Android application. The application is already fully developed and functional, so your focus will be on improving its overall user experience, visual appeal, navigation, usability, and conversion performance while maintaining its core functionality.

You will evaluate the current application, identify user pain points, redesign user journeys, and deliver a polished interface that aligns with modern Android and Material Design standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Conduct a comprehensive UX/UI audit of the existing Android application.
• Identify usability issues and improvement opportunities.
• Redesign screens, navigation flows, and onboarding experiences.
• Create low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Produce high-fidelity UI designs.
• Build a complete mobile design system and reusable UI components.
• Prepare developer-ready assets using Figma.
• Collaborate closely with developers during implementation.
• Ensure designs follow current Android and Material Design best practices.

Essential Skills and Experience

Applicants should have:

• Proven experience designing native Android applications.
• A strong portfolio showcasing Android mobile UI/UX projects.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
• Experience redesigning existing mobile applications.
