About the Role

The successful Business Analysts will join the newly established Support and Intervention Team, created to strengthen policing performance across England and Wales.

Working closely with police forces and national partners, you will analyse complex operational data, create meaningful insights, and develop evidence-based recommendations that improve policing services. You will also work alongside the College Centre for Police Productivity to support national performance improvement initiatives.

This is primarily a remote role with occasional UK travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce statistical analysis using quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Analyse workforce and operational performance information.
  • Design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights.
  • Support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with policing stakeholders.
  • Present analytical findings to senior audiences.
  • Recommend innovative approaches to improve organisational performance.
  • Support national policing reform programmes.

Essential Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Experience delivering organisational performance improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI.
  • Experience creating dashboards and visual reports.
  • Statistical analysis expertise.
  • Data mining, cleansing, and quality assurance experience.
  • Workforce data analysis experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities.
