About the Role
Companies House manages one of the UK’s largest and most valuable datasets relating to registered companies.
As an Associate Data Analyst, you’ll support the Data Governance, Strategy and Quality Team by delivering data analysis, monitoring data quality, building dashboards, and helping improve business decision-making through trusted, high-quality data.
You’ll collaborate with analysts, developers, architects, engineers, operational teams, and government departments to improve how data is managed across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Analyse large datasets to produce meaningful business insights.
- Develop dashboards and performance metrics.
- Monitor and improve data quality.
- Support automated data collection processes.
- Prepare, clean and validate datasets.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Develop metadata and data quality standards.
- Work with Data Engineers, Business Analysts and Performance Analysts.
- Explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Collaborate with government-wide data communities.
