About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join the housekeeping team supporting patients and staff at Littlemore Mental Health Centre.
You will help maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment by carrying out cleaning duties across ward areas, patient rooms, bathrooms, and other clinical spaces.
The Trust is looking for reliable, hardworking, and friendly individuals with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high cleaning standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning in line with national cleaning standards.
- Clean wards, patient rooms, toilets, and communal areas.
- Mop floors and maintain hygiene standards.
- Handle and dispose of waste correctly.
- Follow infection prevention procedures.
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations.
Essential Requirements
- Basic cleaning skills.
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
- GCSE/O-Level standard education.
- Understanding of delivering quality customer service.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- NHS or healthcare cleaning experience.
- Food Hygiene Level 2.
- Food Safety training.
- NVQ Level 1 in Cleaning.
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
