About the Role

As a Social Worker within the Forest of Dean Locality Team, you will support adults to live independently by carrying out assessments, managing cases, coordinating care, and working closely with health professionals and partner agencies to deliver high-quality, person-centred services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess adults’ care and support needs.
  • Develop and review person-centred care plans.
  • Manage a varied caseload.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and partner agencies.
  • Undertake safeguarding investigations where required.
  • Promote independence and positive outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate case records.
  • Comply with legislation and professional standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker recognised in the UK.
  • Current Social Work England (SWE) registration.
  • Minimum of one year of Adult Social Work experience.
  • Skilled Worker visa holders already living and working in the UK may apply for sponsorship transfer.
  • Full UK driving licence (reasonable adjustments may apply).
