Job Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, you will:

  • Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
  • Assist clients with medication safely.
  • Support mobility and use of mobility equipment.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding where required.
  • Carry out light household duties including laundry and cleaning.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Monitor clients’ wellbeing and report any concerns.
  • Keep accurate care records.
  • Help clients stay connected with family and their local community.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals and family members.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Compassion and a caring attitude.
  • Good communication and observation skills.
  • Patience and willingness to support vulnerable people.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
  • The legal right to work in the UK.

No previous care experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
