The successful applicant will provide care within the client’s adapted family home in Hildenborough and support community activities when required.
About the Role
This role involves providing personalised support to a young woman with complex health needs. Every day is different, from assisting with morning routines and therapy sessions to accompanying the client on community outings, attending a day centre, and supporting evening and overnight care.
You will become part of a dedicated team committed to promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.
There may also be opportunities to travel with the client and her family on holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality one-to-one personal care.
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Support therapy programmes.
- Assist with PEG feeding after training.
- Administer medication following training.
- Support oxygen therapy where required.
- Monitor and respond appropriately to epilepsy care needs.
- Accompany the client to appointments and community activities.
- Assist during hydrotherapy sessions.
- Support evening routines and waking night care.
- Maintain accurate care records.
- Promote dignity, safety, and independence at all times.
