About the Role
As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will provide specialist one-to-one care for a young lady with cerebral palsy and learning disabilities. You will work as part of a Registered Nurse-led care team, delivering compassionate, person-centred support while helping the client maintain independence and dignity.
Although previous complex care experience is beneficial, comprehensive paid training and continuous clinical support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality person-centred care.
- Maintain the client’s dignity and independence.
- Follow personalised care plans created by the Nurse Manager.
- Support with daily living activities.
- Build positive relationships through engaging and compassionate care.
- Monitor the client’s wellbeing and complete accurate care records.
- Act in the client’s best interests at all times.
Clinical Skills Involved
Training will be provided for:
- Tracheostomy care
- Oral suctioning
- BiPAP support
- Nippy 4 ventilator support
- Cough Assist
- PEG feeding
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months UK care experience
- Full Right to Work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Compassionate and professional attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
