About the Role
Field Lane Foundation is recruiting a Female Support Worker to join its community-based service in Reigate, Surrey. This rewarding role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently in their own homes or with family.
The ideal candidate should enjoy cycling, outdoor activities, and building meaningful relationships while providing person-centred support.
Please note: This role is open to female applicants only due to a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Support daily living activities, including meals, laundry, and housekeeping.
- Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion.
- Maintain accurate care records.
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Attend training and team meetings.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Care (or willingness to complete).
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities is desirable.
- Caring, patient, and compassionate approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
