About the Role
The SEND Financial Analyst will support Liverpool’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Reform Programme by delivering financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and budget monitoring.
The successful candidate will work closely with finance professionals, SEND teams, schools, and other stakeholders to support financial planning and help deliver successful SEND reforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse financial and non-financial data.
- Build financial forecasting and modelling tools.
- Produce reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare quarterly financial reports for the Department for Education (DfE).
- Monitor budgets and perform variance analysis.
- Evaluate the financial impact of SEND reform initiatives.
- Analyse SEND funding and expenditure with schools.
- Support the Group Finance Manager with financial oversight of the SEND Reform Plan.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with finance and data teams to improve financial forecasting.
- Review and improve SEND funding mechanisms across Liverpool.
