Apprentice Digital Web Producer – NHS Job Opportunity

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is offering an exciting development opportunity for an Apprentice Digital Web Producer to join its Corporate Systems Team.

This role is suited to someone looking to build a career in digital content, web production, websites, intranets and digital communications while gaining practical workplace experience alongside structured apprenticeship training.

The successful applicant will undertake an 18-month Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship while supporting the Trust with the creation, publication and maintenance of digital content.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Digital Web Producer, you will work within a supportive team to help create and maintain accurate, accessible and user-focused content across the Trust’s websites and staff intranet.

You will learn how to ensure digital information is:

  • Clear and easy to understand

  • Accessible to different users
  • Easy to find and navigate

Key Responsibilities

The successful apprentice will support the team with:

  • Creating and editing digital content for Trust websites and intranet platforms.
  • Writing content using clear, accurate and accessible language.
  • Publishing approved content and updates using agreed processes.
  • Checking web pages to ensure information is current and accurate.
  • Checking that online content is accessible and functioning correctly.
  • Supporting content audits and reviews.
  • Assisting with testing and improvements to digital services.
  • Helping make online services easier for users to navigate.
  • Working with colleagues across the Trust to gather and update information.
  • Clarifying content requirements with relevant teams.
  • Identifying and correcting errors.
