About the Role
Wokingham Borough Council is recruiting a Service Delivery Officer: Homes, Care & Provision to join its Children’s Service Delivery team.
This is a full-time, permanent position supporting both the Residential Homes service and the Finance Officer within the Fostering service.
The successful candidate will work alongside frontline practitioners and contribute to the development and improvement of services supporting children, young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Registered Manager and team with multi-agency statutory meetings.
- Answer calls and emails and manage service inboxes.
- Oversee financial processes across the service.
- Collate key performance indicators and essential information for Ofsted inspections.
- Ensure required documentation is accurately recorded and stored on the relevant systems.
- Help ensure statutory deadlines are met.
- Support the Fostering Finance Officer with financial assessments.
- Assist with adoption and special guardianship order allowance decisions.
- Help coordinate payment runs for foster carers.
Candidate Requirements
