Role of the Job

As a Data Analyst at Maximus, you’ll be responsible for analyzing complex data to help solve business problems and provide detailed insights to management. You’ll design reports based on the requestor’s requirements and be responsible for defining data requirements, gathering and validating data, and applying judgment to highlight areas of note to management.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data to provide business insights
• Design reports based on requestor’s requirements
• Perform queries, data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
• Monitor customer usage, upgrades, and reporting tools
• Create user guides and train on use of database reports
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data extracts
• Perform data analysis and present output
• Use MS Excel to organize, summarize, and present data
• Develop visualization objects in Excel or other BI tools.

Qualifications Needed

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in a reporting/business intelligence function
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent critical thinking, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
