Job Description:

The American Cancer Society is seeking a skilled and motivated Temporary Data Analyst to support our constituent data strategy. You’ll work with our Digital Product & Experience leadership team to analyze data, develop measurement frameworks, and generate insights to drive our mission forward.

Objectives:

• Enhance data quality and establish data confidence
• Activate trusted constituent data across the organization
• Support digital product insights and constituent behavior patterns

Responsibilities:

• Analyze constituent data patterns, insights, and opportunities
• Support data quality validation and identify duplication issues
• Refine predictive long-term value (LTV) models incorporating digital behavior signals
• Contribute to models identifying constituents likely to rise into higher-value engagement segments
• Conduct project, technical, and industry-related research
• Write internal and external memos, summaries, and reports with data visualizations
• Assist in preparing and delivering presentations on impact data and initiatives

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in data, analytics, statistics, accounting, finance, or business
• Advanced Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau
• Knowledge of programming, machine learning, and data analysis
• Strong communication and analytical skills
