Main Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care
- Lead clinical management of individual care packages
- Coordinate person-centred healthcare
- Work within a multidisciplinary team
- Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions
- Provide emotional support and therapeutic activities
- Maintain professional boundaries
- Develop positive relationships with service users, carers and professionals
- Undertake prescribed physical observations
- Recognise and respond to clinical concerns

Clinical Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive assessments
- Develop and review care plans
- Conduct risk assessments
- Develop risk-management strategies
- Respond appropriately to crisis situations
- Participate in the Care Programme Approach (CPA)
- Support relatives, carers and partner agencies
- Recognise safeguarding concerns
- Maintain patient safety
- Identify health education needs
- Escalate concerns appropriately
Essential Qualifications
- Current NMC registration as an RMN/RN (Mental Health)
- Successful completion of a mentorship course
Essential Experience
- Further training or experience equivalent to postgraduate diploma level, or five years’ equivalent experience
- At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience
- Understanding of personal and professional boundaries
- Clinical supervision training
Desirable Experience
- Experience with SystemOne
