AI & Systems Modeller Job Overview

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is seeking an experienced AI & Systems Modeller to develop and maintain Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models that improve financial planning, forecasting and decision-making.

Work Location

This hybrid role is based at one of the following UKHSA headquarters:

Employees are expected to work from the office for approximately 60% of their contracted hours.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy AI and Machine Learning models.
Develop automated forecasting and financial decision-support systems.
Build scalable analytics solutions.
Integrate AI models with finance platforms.
Develop automated retraining pipelines using MLOps.
Monitor model performance and accuracy.
Detect and manage model drift.
Ensure AI governance, transparency and compliance.
Develop self-service analytics tools.
Work with structured and unstructured data.
Collaborate with finance, IT and data teams.
Improve forecasting accuracy and business decision-making.

Experience in data engineering.
SQL or other coding/low-code technologies.
Machine Learning model development.
Experience working with large datasets.
AI model deployment and optimisation.
