About the Role
The Home Office plays a vital role in keeping the UK safe through work involving policing, immigration, passports, national security and public protection.
As a Security Pass Team Admin Officer, you’ll help manage staff security passes, warrants, ID cards and access permissions while providing administrative support to the Physical Security Team.
This is an office-based role in Liverpool, with no hybrid or remote working available.
Key Responsibilities
- Process staff pass, warrant and ID card applications.
- Issue passes in accordance with Home Office security policies.
- Manage the Security Pass Team counter service.
- Respond to security-related enquiries from staff and visitors.
- Maintain the Pass Team mailbox and meet service level agreements.
- Process access control requests across the Home Office estate.
- Provide telephone and administrative support.
- Handle incoming post and security documentation.
- Complete additional administrative duties when required.
