About the Role

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while improving their quality of life.

No two days are the same, making this a rewarding role for individuals who enjoy helping others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing and hygiene support
  • Assist with medication administration
  • Prepare meals and support with nutrition
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Carry out light household duties
  • Assist with shopping when required
  • Promote independence and wellbeing
  • Build positive relationships with clients and colleagues

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Reliability and commitment to delivering quality care
  • Previous care experience is welcome but not essential
  • Full training is provided
  • Access to your own vehicle is beneficial but not essential
