About the Role
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while improving their quality of life.
No two days are the same, making this a rewarding role for individuals who enjoy helping others.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing and hygiene support
- Assist with medication administration
- Prepare meals and support with nutrition
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Carry out light household duties
- Assist with shopping when required
- Promote independence and wellbeing
- Build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A caring and compassionate attitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliability and commitment to delivering quality care
- Previous care experience is welcome but not essential
- Full training is provided
- Access to your own vehicle is beneficial but not essential
