About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support to the people living at the residential service.
Your role will involve helping individuals develop essential life skills, participate in activities and access their local community while promoting independence and wellbeing.
Every day can be different. Activities may include supporting people with social outings, entertainment, shopping, cooking, cinema visits, games and other community activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with their daily routines and personal goals.
- Encourage greater independence and confidence.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Help people develop practical life skills.
- Support individuals to access their local communities.
- Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
- Assist with activities such as cooking and household tasks.
- Provide compassionate and person-centred support.
- Work effectively as part of a wider care team.
- Help the people supported to achieve their individual goals.
- Promote dignity, choice, independence and wellbeing.
No Previous Experience Required
Previous Support Worker experience is not essential.

Salary and Benefits
The position offers £12.72 per hour, together with a range of additional benefits.
