About The Role
The Bridge Care is looking for kind, reliable and motivated Support Workers to join its team in Bradford.
This is an opportunity to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and complex support needs, helping them live safe, independent, fulfilling and meaningful lives.
As a Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support based on each person’s individual needs, preferences and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex support needs.
- Providing person-centred support based on individual needs, preferences and goals.
- Promoting independence, dignity, choice and personal wellbeing.
- Supporting individuals with personal care and daily routines where required.
- Assisting with cooking, cleaning, shopping and household activities.
- Supporting individuals to take medication safely.
- Helping individuals attend health appointments.
- Encouraging meaningful activities, hobbies and social opportunities.
- Supporting people to access their local community.
- Helping individuals develop life skills, confidence and independence.
- Supporting people to achieve their personal goals.
- Following individual support plans and risk assessments.
- Responding calmly and positively when individuals experience distress.
- Providing reassurance, emotional support and positive companionship.
- Building positive and trusting relationships.
- Working effectively as part of a dedicated support team.
Shift Patterns
The role includes day, night and weekend shifts.
Day Shift: 7:30am – 9:30pm
Night Shift: 9:15pm – 7:45am

Previous experience as a Support Worker is not essential.
