Job Description:
Join Mindful Makers Co-Op as a Part-Time Academic Instructor and contribute to creating engaging educational content for K-8 students! You’ll record scripted lesson videos, grade assignments, and provide feedback to students.
Responsibilities:
- Record scripted academic lesson videos
- Complete structured platform training
- Grade assignments and projects using structured rubrics
- Provide concise, constructive academic feedback
- Respond to parent/student questions in-platform
- Participate in grading calibration sessions and team meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Education or related field preferred)
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Experience teaching, tutoring, or homeschooling
- Comfort recording instructional video
- Ability to meet deadlines and productivity goals
- Preferred: Experience with project-based learning, grading upper elementary or middle school writing, and familiarity with homeschool families
