About the Role
As a Heritage Lets Site Cleaner, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining Jersey Heritage’s self-catering accommodation properties between guest stays. Your work will help ensure visitors enjoy a high-quality experience while staying in some of the island’s most unique heritage locations.
The role also includes participating in an on-call rota to assist with occasional out-of-hours guest enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service Heritage Lets properties between guest occupancies.
- Ensure accommodation meets agreed cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Strip and remake beds.
- Sort, prepare, and manage linen collections and deliveries.
- Remove rubbish and maintain outdoor areas.
- Monitor and replenish guest supplies and cleaning stock.
- Conduct routine inventory and maintenance checks.
- Report maintenance issues to management.
- Coordinate with third-party cleaning providers where required.
- Assist with water, gas, and property supply management.
- Purchase welcome packs and other guest essentials.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a Jersey resident for at least five years.
- Have their own transport.
- Be available to work weekends.
- Be willing to respond to occasional emergency guest calls.
- Have access to email.
- Be physically fit and capable of carrying out cleaning duties.
