About the Role
The successful candidate will support the delivery of UKHSA’s ambitious Health Security Campus Programme, helping to establish modern laboratory facilities that will strengthen the UK’s preparedness for future health emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning and scheduling
- Manage project risks, issues and change controls
- Produce project performance reports
- Monitor governance and compliance requirements
- Support project business case development
- Monitor project budgets and expenditure
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare official correspondence and reports
- Promote best practices across project teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Requirements
- Significant experience in project risk and issue management
- Experience in governance and information management
- Knowledge of recognised project management methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisational and analytical abilities
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Salary
- National: £41,983 – £48,128
- Outer London: £44,148 – £50,121
- Inner London: £46,310 – £52,113
Working Pattern
UKHSA operates a hybrid working model, with approximately 60% of working time spent at one of its core offices and the remainder worked remotely where business needs allow.
Visa Sponsorship
Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available for eligible international applicants.
Please note that this role requires Security Clearance (SC), and applicants will normally need to have lived in the UK for at least five years to meet national security vetting requirements.
