About the Role
As the Senior Product Manager, you will lead a portfolio of customer contact products, including:
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Telephony platforms
- Digital forms
- Customer correspondence and letter services
You’ll define the product vision, develop long-term roadmaps, prioritise delivery, and ensure products continue to meet user needs while supporting the Welsh Revenue Authority’s digital transformation strategy.
Working with multidisciplinary Agile teams, you’ll collaborate with designers, developers, analysts, service owners, and operational teams to deliver high-quality digital services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery through continuous improvement.
- Develop and communicate clear product strategies and roadmaps.
- Prioritise product features based on customer value.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
- Collaborate with users to gather feedback and improve services.
- Ensure seamless customer journeys across digital services.
- Support operational delivery and incident management.
- Ensure compliance with information governance, privacy and data standards.
- Promote Agile product management practices across the organisation.
Essential Requirements
Successful applicants should have:
- Significant Product Management experience.
- Strong technical understanding of digital products.
- Experience delivering complex digital transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery principles.
- Experience developing product strategies and delivery roadmaps.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Experience working with service designers, analysts, delivery managers and data specialists.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Working Pattern
The role is based in Cardiff, with regular travel to another WRA office when required.
Hybrid working is supported, with an expected office attendance of approximately 2 days per week.
Welsh Language Requirement
Welsh language skills are not essential for this position.
Security Requirements
