About the Role

Cooper Parry is seeking a motivated and delivery-focused Business Analyst to join its Transformation Team in the Midlands on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to contribute to an ambitious growth strategy involving business acquisitions, integration programmes, process improvement and organisational change.

The successful candidate will work across multiple projects, helping teams coordinate activities, track delivery, identify risks and dependencies, improve processes and ensure that business changes are successfully implemented.

Key Responsibilities

Acquisition & Integration Delivery

The Business Analyst will:

  • Support the planning, coordination and tracking of acquisition and integration activities across multiple projects.
  • Monitor project progress against key milestones.
  • Work closely with project teams to keep delivery on track.
  • Identify risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Escalate concerns promptly and recommend practical solutions.
  • Constructively challenge stakeholders when actions or deliverables are at risk.
  • Maintain project plans, trackers and governance documentation.
  • Support effective project governance and delivery.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Eliciting, documenting and analysing business requirements.
  • Working with stakeholders across different areas of the organisation.
  • Facilitating workshops, meetings and stakeholder discussions.
  • Gathering information and defining business requirements.
  • Producing clear and concise business documentation.
  • Creating process maps and user stories.
  • Preparing impact assessments.
  • Analysing data and business processes.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and ways of working.
  • Supporting business decision-making through analysis and recommendations.
  • Developing new processes, templates and ways of working where gaps are identified.
  • Helping implement improvements that reduce risk and improve delivery outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Support

The successful applicant will:

  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Business Analyst, PMO Analyst or in a project delivery role.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience gathering, documenting and analysing business requirements.
  • The ability to analyse information and identify important themes.
  • The ability to provide practical recommendations based on analysis.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Experience producing process maps.
  • Experience creating requirements documentation.
  • Experience working with user stories and project artefacts.
  • Confidence facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
