About the Role
As an Enquiry Executive, you will contribute to the delivery of trusted research and information services that support MPs and their staff in carrying out their parliamentary responsibilities.
You will work with subject specialists and researchers to answer research enquiries, locate and assess reliable sources, and contribute to briefings covering topical economic and statistical issues.
The role operates in a fast-paced and collaborative environment where accuracy, impartiality and clarity are particularly important.

Salary
The advertised salary is:
£31,529 – £34,913 per year

Working Arrangement
This is a hybrid working position.
Employees are expected to spend approximately 40% of their working time in the office, with the remaining working arrangement subject to the organisation’s hybrid-working arrangements.

Recruitment Process
Following the application deadline, candidates will be sent links to two online tests.
Numerical Skills Test: Approximately 30 minutes.
Verbal Reasoning Test: Approximately 30 minutes.
The application assessment and online test results will determine which candidates progress.
If a very large number of applications are received, additional recruitment stages may be introduced.
Second Stage – In-Person Assessment
Candidates who progress may be invited to an in-person assessment day in London.
The assessment day is expected to include:

The in-person days are expected to take place in late September 2026.
Candidates shortlisted for interview will have the interview questions shared with them in advance.
