About the Role
Vita Health Group is looking for an experienced Operational Duty & Risk Manager to join its team.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational oversight of the National Duty Team across NHS Talking Therapies services within Vita Health Group.
The role involves operational leadership, risk management, service performance, staff management, capacity planning and oversight of operational issues and incidents.
Key Responsibilities
▫️ Provide day-to-day operational oversight of the National Duty Team.
▫️ Ensure safe, effective and efficient service delivery.
▫️ Manage daily demand and capacity.
▫️ Support and manage operational teams.
▫️ Coordinate risk management processes.
▫️ Oversee operational issues, escalations and incidents.
▫️ Lead Interface Leads, Operational Team Managers and Duty & Risk Mental Health Practitioners.
▫️ Monitor service performance and KPIs.
▫️ Analyse complex service-performance data.
▫️ Support service development, innovation and growth.
▫️ Communicate complex operational information effectively.
Essential Skills and Experience
▫️ Significant experience working in mental health and/or Talking Therapies.
▫️ At least 2 years’ experience effectively managing an operational team.
▫️ Experience of capacity and demand management.
▫️ Experience working at senior management level.
▫️ Experience analysing complex service-performance data.
▫️ Experience in service development, innovation and growth.
▫️ Ability to lead teams to deliver KPIs.
▫️ Advanced communication skills.
▫️ Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
