- Compensation: $37,800 – $43,500 annually (based on experience and location)
Role of the Job
The Patient Advocate Data Entry I supports the Customer Success team by accurately entering and managing patient orders, ensuring all data is processed efficiently and in compliance with healthcare regulations. This role plays a key part in delivering a positive customer experience and maintaining the accuracy of Myriad’s CLIA lab operations.
Responsibilities
- Translate healthcare information and test orders from request forms into the database accurately and promptly.
- Review received orders for completeness and communicate missing elements.
- Ensure a high level of data quality and throughput.
- Comply with CLIA and HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Data entry experience with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Windows and internet browsers.
- Preferred: 6 months to 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
- Preference given to applicants with higher typing speeds.
