Income Officer – Wolverhampton Homes Ltd

Wolverhampton Homes Ltd is looking for a customer-focused Income Officer to join its Income Team in Wolverhampton.

The role involves managing rent accounts, supporting customers to sustain their tenancies, preventing and reducing rent arrears, and taking appropriate recovery action when required.

This is a full-time, permanent position that is predominantly office-based, with community visits required. Extensive remote working should not be expected.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of rent accounts and maximise income collection.
  • Work with customers to prevent and reduce rent arrears through early intervention.
  • Negotiate realistic repayment arrangements and monitor agreements.
  • Maintain accurate tenancy and income records.
  • Work with internal teams and external agencies to support customers.
  • Take appropriate recovery action in line with policies, procedures and statutory timescales.
