Culture Liverpool delivers cultural events, festivals, projects and artistic programmes designed to showcase the city’s creativity, heritage and ambition.
As a Special Projects Producer, you will take a leading role across a portfolio of high-profile cultural projects and productions. You will help develop creative ideas and oversee their progression from early planning through to live delivery.
The role involves balancing creative ambition with effective production, project management, stakeholder engagement and safe delivery.
Key Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Lead the development and delivery of complex cultural projects and live events.
- Turn creative concepts into practical, deliverable projects.
- Oversee projects from initial development through to completion.
- Work closely with artists, creative teams, communities, partners, contractors and suppliers.
- Manage production planning and project delivery.

You should have experience across areas such as:
- Production and project management
- Budget management
- Artist liaison
- Stakeholder engagement
- Procurement
- Contract management
- Coordinating multiple partners and suppliers
- Delivering projects within complex and fast-paced environments
You will also need strong organisational and relationship-building skills, together with the ability to combine creative thinking with effective project delivery.
