About the Role

GSK is seeking a highly motivated Business Data Analyst to support its large-scale data transformation and modernization programme. The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation of SAP PLM Cloud, helping standardize and improve formulation data management across Research & Development operations.

This remote contract role offers an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading healthcare companies, supporting cutting-edge pharmaceutical and vaccine development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support data management and system delivery activities within SAP PLM Cloud.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple integrated systems.
  • Create and maintain business and technical documentation, including:
    • User Requirement Specifications (URS)
    • Business Process Specification Documents (BPSD)
    • Test Scripts
  • Support technical testing cycles, system configuration, validation, and deployment activities.
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go-live readiness activities.
  • Perform data harmonization and cleansing initiatives.
  • Align material master data across multiple platforms.
  • Support substance mapping activities between systems such as ECC Rx and COMET.
  • Develop and implement substance mapping upload processes.
  • Identify and resolve data quality and consistency issues.
  • Support data governance and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Create training materials and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with technical, business, and cross-functional teams globally.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Data Analysis, Data Management, or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Data Quality
    • Data Integrity
    • Data Mapping
    • Data Governance
  • Experience creating business and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of system testing, UAT, and validation processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with integrated enterprise systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP platforms, including SAP PLM Cloud, SAP ECC, or related systems.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environments.
  • Knowledge of material master data management.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments such as GMP.
  • Awareness of IDMP standards.
  • Degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
