About the Role

As a Care Assistant – Nights, you’ll provide high-quality personal care and support to residents while maintaining their dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll help ensure continuity of care throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and hygiene support to residents.
  • Promote residents’ independence, dignity, and respect.
  • Monitor residents for clinical concerns including:
    • Weight loss
    • Pressure sores
    • Falls risks
    • Signs of infection
  • Report concerns promptly to senior staff.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, relatives, and colleagues.
  • Follow safe working practices and care procedures.
  • Support residents with compassion throughout the night shift.
