Key Responsibilities

The CRF Receptionist/Admin will be expected to:

  • Check and update patient and volunteer information accurately.
  • Inform research teams about bookings, cancellations and other relevant changes.
  • Ensure study information recorded on EDI includes visit type and visit length.

  • Act as a gatekeeper for the MRI Suite.
  • Ensure patients, new researchers and visitors receive the appropriate MRI safety questionnaires.
  • Liaise with radiographers regarding MRI safety approval.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems for MRI safety questionnaires.
  • Check MRI safety documentation against staff accessing the unit.
  • Provide a professional telephone enquiry service for the CRF.
  • Deal with incoming telephone calls and enquiries appropriately.
  • Redirect calls or take messages according to CRF procedures.
