Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Support Worker to join our team in the Newport/Torfaen area. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care to service users within their own homes.

Responsibilities:

Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and preparing meals
Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals
Implement care plans under the supervision of medical staff
Drive service users to appointments or outings when required
Maintain a clean and safe environment for service users
Provide emotional support to service users and their families

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans accurately and responsibly
Valid driving licence (own car preferable)
Experience in a care home or home care setting (preferred)
Proficiency in English
Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping
