Project Management Office Analyst – Kew Gardens (UK Based Applicants Only)

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (RBG Kew) is recruiting a Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst to support the delivery of a £20 million annual capital projects programme. This permanent hybrid opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in project management, PMO, programme support, financial governance, and capital project administration.

Working within Kew’s Estates Projects Team, you’ll help deliver major construction, conservation, refurbishment, and decarbonisation projects that support Kew’s mission to combat climate change and biodiversity loss.

About the Role

As the PMO Analyst, you will work closely with the PMO Lead to ensure the successful delivery of Kew’s capital investment programme.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of major capital and construction projects.
  • Managing project documentation and reporting.
  • Monitoring financial governance across projects.
  • Producing programme reports and performance updates.
  • Maintaining project information using SharePoint and document management systems.
  • Providing quality assurance for project support activities.
  • Supporting governance processes to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Acting on behalf of the PMO Lead when required.

Essential Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Degree-level education or an equivalent Level 5/6 qualification.
  • Experience in PMO, programme management, or project support.
  • Experience supporting complex capital or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of project governance and financial administration.
  • Experience using SharePoint or project document management systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.

Desirable Qualifications

The following are advantageous but not essential:

  • PRINCE2 certification.
  • APM qualification.
  • Agile certification.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience using financial management systems.
